Experience a hands-on adventure in the world of bugs at the Victor Valley Museum during Bug Fest, Saturday, August 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bug Fest activities are included with museum general admission.

Examine the kinds of bugs you see around your house and yard at microscope stations. Make bug crafts and play bug games.

An exciting interactive bug show at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. will feature “Dr. Sue the Bug Lady.”

"The Victor Valley Museum's annual Bug Fest provides an entertaining and unique educational experience that will spark a profound curiosity for the world of bugs,” said Kristin Stevens, San Bernardino County Museum education division. “This family friendly event is packed with interactive and hands-on activities that promote an awareness of the importance and value of bugs in the environment."

BugFest and the County Museum’s other exciting events and exhibits reflect the effort by the Board of Supervisors to achieve the Countywide Vision by celebrating arts, culture, and education in the county, creating quality of life for residents and visitors.

The Victor Valley Museum is a branch of the San Bernardino County Museum located at 11873 Apple Valley Road in Apple Valley. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 (adult), $4 (senior or military), and $2.50 (student).
