7/28/2010 - Firefighters extricate woman from overturned vehicle

Redlands Firefighters extricated an injured woman from an overturned vehicle following a single-vehicle collision.

Firefighters responded to the report of the accident on Lugonia Avenue at the 210 Freeway shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday, July 27.

The 2006 Land Rover was westbound on the 210 Freeway when it left the overpass, landing on Lugonia Avenue before coming to rest upside down.

It took Firefighters 20 minutes to extricate the lone occupant, a woman in her late 20s. Paramedics started treatment while the woman was still in the vehicle. She was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
