7/22/2010 - Adventist Health Hires Dorane L. Wintermeyer as Director of Business RelationsWintermeyer Brings 20 Years of Experience to Adventist Health Team Portland, Ore. -- Adventist Health has hired Dorane L. Wintermeyer as director of business relations. In her new role, Wintermeyer is responsible for fostering relationships with health plan providers to ensure that the community has access to Adventist Health's quality health care services. Wintermeyer was selected for the Adventist Health position following a nationwide search. Before joining Adventist Health, Wintermeyer served as the vice president of sales for Regence BlueCross and BlueShield of Oregon. In this role, she was responsible for sales and account management for all lines of business. Prior to that, Wintermeyer spent two years as the vice president of marketing and sales for BlueCross and BlueShield of New Mexico where, in addition to sales and account management, she was responsible for marketing and communications initiatives. She has more than 20 years of experience working in the Blue Cross network. "Dorane's extensive knowledge of the health plan industry coupled with her shared commitment to Adventist Health's mission, make her the perfect candidate for the job and I look forward to working with her as we continue to grow our organization." Wintermeyer received a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from the University of New Mexico and a second bachelor’s of science degree in business from the University of Phoenix. Wintermeyer is a board member for Oregon Mentors and a fellow of the Life Management Institute.
