7/1/2010 - Summer Web Site Design Course Offered for Kids

The College of Extended Learning at California State University, San Bernardino offers “Web Site Design for Kids,” the perfect summer learning experience for kids ages 9-15.   Young computer artists will learn basic Web page-building techniques such as using digital art, navigation, design and page linking.  At the end of the class, students will post their Web pages on the Internet.  The course is taught by Eric Teitelbaum, whose drawings and designs have appeared in The New Yorker magazine.  He is also the co-creator of the new “Pink Panther” comic strip.   


“Web Site Design for Kids” will be held on Saturday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Cal State, San Bernardino’s Yasuda Center.  The course fee is $99 per student.  To ensure hands-on participation, enrollment is limited—registration is required by Thursday, July 15.  For more information or to register, call Carol Galvan at (909) 537-3910, E-mail cgalvan@csusb.edu, or visit http://cel.csusb.edu.
