St. Helena Hospital and Foothills Adventist Elementary School are co-sponsoring a "Celebration of Thanks" community potluck on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008 to honor the many people and agencies who fought the Deer Fire and helped save the Deer Park community from devastation.

 

St. Helena Hospital and Foothills Adventist Elementary School, the two primary institutions that had the potential of being impacted by the fire, wish to extend an opportunity for the community to express their personal thanks to the emergency-response agencies for their heroic effort last weekend.

 

All residents, fire and law enforcement agencies, businesses, friends and family are welcome to join the celebration from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Foothills Adventist Elementary School, 711 Sunnyside Road. Bring some food, dessert, and sodas to share and celebrate together as a community.
